"The eczema is so severe
that even a splash of water
causes intense pain."
"Treatment only works
for a while."
This patient asked,
“I’ve been on various treatments
for eczema for 5 years,
but why isn’t it working?”
It's heartbreaking
to hear the question
from a patient
living in daily despair.
This patient first
developed small,
coin-shaped patches
of eczema on the legs.
The symptoms temporarily
improved with steroid ointment,
but flared up again
after stopping the treatment,
repeating this cycle over time.
The problem is that
the eczema, which started as
small coin-shaped patches,
gradually grew larger
and became more severe.
The patient’s father asked me,
“Doctor,
can it be treated?”
I answered,
“Your daughter has
very severe eczema,
but we will do
everything we can.”
What happened to
this patient after that?
Was she cured?
This eczema patient
has undergone
various treatments
over the past 20 years,
but as shown in the photo,
the eczema has worsened
and spread throughout
the entire body.
"Doctor, every day
feels like hell for me…
Is there any hope
for treating my eczema?"
And I answered.
"Your eczema is in a
very severe state,
but I will do my best
to help you."
What happened to
this patient after that?
Was she cured?
"Doctor, can my eczema
really be cured?"
This is the most common question
from our eczema patients.
It would be more helpful
for patients to watch interviews
with other eczema patients
than for me to answer
this question directly.
I would like to
take this opportunity
to express my sincere
gratitude to these patients,
who participated in the filming
hoping to help others
with eczema.
HM Korean Medicine Clinic
is trusted by a diverse
range of patients from both
Korea and around the world.
So what is the reason
people come to HM Clinic,
even from distant and
unfamiliar countries?
"Eczema takes a
greater toll
on the heart and mind
than it does on the skin."
HM Medical Clinic is committed
to creating a world
without eczema.
Then, let's take a look
at the treatment progress of the
eczema patients above.
These photos were taken
after taking HM-V and
HM Saengsik for
14 months, and 15 months,
respectively.
You can see that
the severe scaling
and oozing across the
entire body have disappeared,
and the skin has returned
to a normal, healthy state.
*Important information
every eczema patient should know.
When patients
with eczema
visit us for the first time,
this is the question
I always ask first:
"In order to be healthy,
does our blood need
to be clean or dirty?"
Most patients respond,
“It should be clean.”
This time,
I rephrase the question slightly
and ask it like this:
"In order to treat eczema,
do you think the blood
needs to be clean or dirty?"
Again this time,
most patients respond,
“It should be clean.”
Most eczema patients
may not be doctors,
but they instinctively know
that clean blood
is essential for good health.
Now, let’s take a closer look
at the relationship between
blood and eczema.
Comparison of Blood
Between Eczema
Patients and
Healthy Individuals
How was the video?
In the patient’s blood,
the red blood cells appear spiky,
the plasma is cloudy,
and numerous foreign particles
can be seen floating.
Let’s take a look
at blood samples from other
eczema patients.
[ Eczema Case 1 ]
Female, 30s | History: 8 years |
Severe eczema
In the video,
you can see that
the red blood cells
are deformed into spiky shapes,
and tiny microorganisms
are rapidly moving in the plasma.
The patient was shocked
to see their own blood
and exclaimed,
“I can’t believe
how dirty my blood is!”
[ Eczema Case 2 ]
Male, 20s | History: 5 years |
Severe eczema
Just like the previous patient,
this one also shows
red blood cells that have deformed
into a chestnut burr-like shape.
In the plasma,
tiny microorganism-like particles
can be seen moving rapidly.
What exactly are
those fast-moving particles
in the blood?
[ Eczema Case 3 ]
Male, 40s | History: 15 years |
Severe eczema
Compared to the
previous two patients,
this patient's blood
appears even more contaminated.
The red blood cells are
significantly more deformed,
the plasma is cloudy,
and there are noticeably more tiny,
bacteria-like particles moving around.
Next, we’ll look at the
blood of a patient
who showed improvement
in their skin disease
after treatment at our hospital.
[ Blood Video After Skin Improvement ]
Unlike the eczema patients
described earlier,
this patient’s blood shows
round-shaped red blood cells
and clear plasma.
Why is the blood of
eczema patients
not as clean as
that of healthy individuals?
Then, let’s take a look
at some of the more
unusual blood videos
from skin patients
who visited HM Clinic.
[ Patient’s Unusual Blood Video 1 ]
[ Patient’s Unusual Blood Video 2 ]
[ Patient’s Unusual Blood Video 3 ]
Most eczema patients
are shocked when they see
these blood images.
They come to understand that
clean blood is essential
for good health—
and that eczema
can only be treated
when the blood is clean.
In healthy individuals,
the colon contains
many beneficial
lactic acid bacteria
and few harmful
putrefactive bacteria.
However, in patients,
the colon is often dominated
by putrefactive bacteria.
These bacteria cause food
to decay and produce toxins,
which are referred to
as intestinal toxins.
Quadruplex Toxins
In the intestines
of eczema patients,
an overgrowth of
putrefactive bacteria
breaks down food and
produces harmful substances
known as colon toxins.
When these colon toxins
erode the tight junctions
of the intestinal lining,
making it more permeable,
the toxins can
pass through these gaps
into the bloodstream and
reach the liver via the portal vein.

When a small amount of
toxins enters the liver,
it can detoxify them effectively.
However, if the toxin load
is too high,
the excess begins to
accumulate in the liver.
These toxins are called
liver toxins.
Since liver toxins impair
the liver’s detoxification function,
the toxins that enter the liver
through the portal vein
may not be fully detoxified
and can re-enter the bloodstream
in an unmetabolized state.
These toxins are called
blood toxins.
As they circulate
throughout the body,
they can accumulate in the skin
and become skin toxins.
Skin toxins trigger
immune reactions in the skin,
leading to to red rashes
and the development of
eczema.

So, let’s take a closer look
at how blood is related
to eczema.
Normal Skin
The large intestine of
a healthy individual
hosts a variety of
microorganisms—including
bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeast—
that play important
physiological roles such as
aiding digestion,
regulating immunity, and
facilitating nutrient absorption.
Lactobacillus helps
ferment dietary fiber,
while Bacteroides and Prevotella
break down polysaccharides and
regulate the immune system.
Bifidobacterium contributes
to stabilizing
the intestinal environment,
promoting the growth of
beneficial bacteria,
and enhancing immune function.
These intestinal bacteria
help prevent pathogenic infections
by inhibiting harmful microbes
from colonizing the colon,
strengthen the tight junctions of
intestinal epithelial cells,
block the penetration of toxins
and pathogens through
the intestinal barrier,
purify the blood, and
contribute to
maintaining healthy skin.
The Development
of Skin Disease
In the colons of
eczema patients,
beneficial bacteria such as
Bifidobacterium and Lactobacillus
are significantly reduced.
As a result,
the microbial diversity in the colon
is significantly reduced,
while harmful bacteria
such as Clostridium difficile
and Staphylococcus increase.
These harmful bacteria
produce substances such as LPS,
which promote
inflammatory responses
and worsen eczema
through the bloodstream.
Detoxification therapy
The detoxification treatment
at HM Clinic improves
the intestinal environment
to promote colon detox,
supports liver detoxification
by enhancing liver function,
purifies the blood by
eliminating blood toxin,
and removes
inflammatory substances
from the skin
to aid in skin detox.
Immune normalization

308nm UVB energy
and directly irradiating
the affected area,
this treatment safely and painlessly
addresses autoimmune and
inflammatory skin diseases.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture on key acupoints
helps improve
the digestive functions
of the stomach and colon,

High-frequency therapy
Many eczema
patients tend to have a
low core body temperature.
When core temperature drops,
blood flow to the
intestinal mucosa decreases,
making the lining more
vulnerable to damage and
slower to regenerate.
This can lead to
leaky colon syndrome,
which may worsen
eczema symptoms.
